VPAT/ACR Evaluator Acknowledgment Form
For Public Entity Users
As a public agency user of the VPAT/ACR Evaluator, you are accessing this platform to assess the completeness, structure, and credibility of vendor-submitted Accessibility Conformance Reports (ACRs) or Voluntary Product Accessibility Templates (VPATs). This assessment may support technical readiness reviews, pre-award procurement decisions, or post-award contract monitoring.
Please review and acknowledge the following:
No Guarantee of Accessibility Compliance. The Phase 1 evaluation is based solely on the content of the uploaded VPAT/ACR. It does not involve direct testing of the product and does not confirm actual accessibility compliance or user experience outcomes.
Use for Preliminary Risk Assessment. The evaluation report offers structured insights aligned with Section 508 and WCAG standards and is intended to support procurement teams in identifying potential legal, functional, or operational risks.
Vendor Responsibility. Accessibility conformance and the accuracy of all claims remain the responsibility of the vendor or bidder. Public entities are encouraged to request deeper evaluation (e.g., Phase 2) if warranted.
No Legal or Regulatory Determination. The VPAT/ACR Evaluator is a decision-support tool and does not serve as legal advice, nor does it constitute a certification of accessibility compliance.
